1932 London-Brighton Relay

16 April 1932, London to Brighton Relay . As Big Ben strikes 11am the race is away and taking control of Belgrave's first leg was Tom Carter (B1). By the time Chelsea Bridge was reached he was forcing the pace and at the end of the stage Tom was 4th with the first three having broken the course record. It was a great day for the Bels. When Brighton Front was reached the team had claimed third spot behind Birchfield and Salford, first Southern club ahead of Aldershot Command A.C.
